Day 17 – Bikini Body Mommy Challenge (www.bikinibodymommy.com)

Im sure you all saw, but last night i updated my last blog post, as I was feeling so horrible that I hadn’t done my workout for the day because I am sick….So I went for a nice walk instead, I didn’t break a sweat, and I didn’t push myself, but I did get some fresh air and it was really nice… Today is a new day…So here we go again… the new big 8. We can only improve right?!….

***It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you don’t rest for more than 1 MINUTE in between exercises.

How I did today:

I am still not feeling well, and although I did better in some of the sets today, I did have to skip the squat thrusts, and I was taking a bit of a longer break around the end of the workout. But I made it!… barely! I also Googled the hundreds and watched a video. last time i did 25 of them… well, not really because I was doing something completely different, this time… 130! ( thanks Kim!) hopefully i start feeling better soon, I really want to reap the full benefit of these workouts.

I am curious about the chair people are using for the step ups. so far I have used one kitchen chair, and one step stool… They both seem very tall to me, but I’m 5’3 and 2/3rds…. everything is tall to me… I am finding it fairly unstable and i really don’t like doing them. 😦 Suggestions are welcome!

    I’ll be doing mine very late tonight but my suggestion for the step ups is to use one stair. I did last time.

    My step ups I want to be big, so I did it using my leather couch. The step is higher than my knee when I stand straight. I stepped up right on the edge, so as to not sink in at all. Do you think that that is too big? Maybe that’s why I struggled so much with it. Lol

    • I don’t know, maybe it’s just right? I don’t have a couch that’s sturdy to use, I’m sure they are supped to be big. But I’m so clumsy I’m afraid of falling

    Ok finished today stronger than last time, but still not great yet. Numbers: we’ll I went upon everything except the stupid push ups, gawd I suck at push ups. Actually anything arm related usually is pathetic from me. I play soccer not football or tennis lol. Here they are:
    Swings 74
    Push ups 35 – stayed the same
    Lunge knee ups L17 and R20. – I am very unstable doing this movement
    Mountain climbers. 39 – I start off so strong here, but I think because of the position I’m in, it compresses my lungs so much (as the leg moves up) that I find I start running out of air/stamina really quick, like 35 sec in.
    Biceps 1) 23 2) 27 3) 28
    Step ups L 27 and R 27
    Squat thrusts 22. Still working on this form – so glad there is no one watching lol
    Hundreds 183. I practiced this one with my students yesterday, I have the form down packed, the trouble is keeping up with the count as Joyce said lol

    Great work everyone. Cardio tomorrow and the the last set of this one for a long while. I peeked lol

    • 183 hundreds! Holy!! I’m going to try harder next time! Lol. I’m still sick and am getting light headed/dizzy pretty easily. I have no idea wtf is wrong with me… I think I might have to walk tomorrow too 😦 hopefully this goes away soon.
